We are Anaheim Ballet, the city’s resident ballet company providing a community outreach program, a training school and a performing company. Whether providing community programs for youth, professional concerts or world-class training, our goal is to serve the community with excellence and positivity. Your donation will help Anaheim students develop nobility of carriage, and values of discipline and perseverance that last a lifetime.

Most of the participants in our STEP-UP! outreach program will not become professional dancers. However, they will all utilize the benefits attributed to learning, watching and supporting the classical arts. Did you know that ballet training includes much more than technical acquisition? Students enter our programs to learn techniques of classical ballet, but leave with much more. You can help Anaheim youth acquire skills that they will take with them into the workforce no matter what career path they choose. Your giving will help encourage values of self motivation, peer appreciation, problem solving, perseverance and more.

Free community performances for youth: Both eyes and minds open wide as students watch a live ballet performance in a professional theatre, often for their first time, and experience colorful, athletic and imaginative possibilities for their own lives within Anaheim Ballet’s presentations in partnership with the Anaheim Elementary School District.

STEP-UP! community outreach program: STEP-UP! serves Anaheim’s low-income families with after-school programming that provides ballet training and fosters students' potential for multi-disciplinary skills. Your donation will keep the doors open for students to learn the values of focus, persistence, discipline and teamwork through classical ballet classes and performances. The program teaches discipline, perseverance, teamwork and excellence.

Career-track scholarships: Talent is not limited by gender, ethnicity or socio-economics. Talent is a gift that must be acknowledged and developed. Please help the gifted youth in our communities develop their potential for careers in performing arts by supporting a career-track scholarship. Dancers cannot develop without steady expert training and coaching - help them realize their gifts.

Summer Intensive training: Anaheim Ballet’s four-week summer intensive training session provides an extraordinary opportunity for students to train in multiple dance disciplines with renowned master teachers. It also affords them the opportunity to perform in a free concert for a live audience. Your donation helps produce this win-win event that benefits both the performers and the community.
