During this special one-day fundraising event, your support will empower at-risk teens and students on the Autism Spectrum to find their voices. For over 20 years, Chance Theater’s “Speak Up” program has provided a life-changing experience, teaching teamwork, creative problem-solving, and public speaking. This free summer program starts with workshops and culminates in a live performance written and performed by the teens. Your donation fosters greater understanding and empathy, helping us build a more connected, compassionate, and creative community.
Your generous contribution will directly support our TEENS SPEAK UP and SPECTRUM SPEAK UP summer programs, providing full scholarships and necessary resources for all participants. Since 1999, Chance Theater has been dedicated to creating a more creative, connected, and compassionate community through bold theatrical experiences. As a diverse and inclusive organization with a high percentage of female staff, we focus on telling impactful stories that promote dialogue and compassion. Our award-winning productions have garnered national recognition, including the National Theatre Company grant and multiple OCTG, Ovation, and LADCC Awards. Despite our achievements, ticket sales cover only half our costs. Your support through donations is crucial for sustaining our mission and empowering youth through educational programs.
